Not much has gotten done between the last entry and this one. Winter this year Chose Violence™, Friday (1/23) was -42°C with wind chill and I told my boss there was no chance in hell I was coming in; even if I wanted to my car definitely would not have started (and I have a garage). My car barely even wanted to start on Saturday and it was only -25°C. I didn't leave the warm safety of my blankets until like noon on Friday, it was that bad. It would probably be less worse if my house was better insulated, had better windows and didn't have a poor excuse of a 'basement' that just leaks cold air 24/7. Oh well, it'll be someone else's problem soon.
In terms of moving, things are slowing down at work now so I'll have more time to wrap things up on my end (my sister is still dragging her feet on the entire process). The current list of bullshit to get done is to: finish moving boxes, finish building PC, install fuckhueg desk in my new room, set up PC, contact my ISP to move my service location, and all the administrative shit that comes with selling a house.
In better and less stressful news, I am absolutely drowning in hobby stuff (though everything's in my room at dad's house). My Kusuriya no Hitorigoto books are in, I've got more magazines for archiving on the way, there's more FFCC Museum stuff on the way as well. Lots of very exciting stuff. I've also decided to throw all caution to the wind and snap up the few doujinshi I've been eyeing for like... 2 weeks, along with some miscellaneous stuff. I won't talk much on it here as I'm being a bit of an asshole and not wanting others to get to the things I want before I do but it's basically more archival stuff for a different franchise, which means I get to spend more time scanning/editing and translating more things when I can get around to it!
Scanning and editing hell, how I have not missed you.
