Blog Entry 005

[December 27th, 2025] End of the Year

It's been roughly a month since I last updated; not much has gotten done, not much is new. But things will (hopefully) be getting done soon! Work is slowly but surely peeling out of overtime/holiday peak season, we've been getting short shifts the past week and a half because of a lack of things to do. This means I'll likely have more free time to focus on moving again (overdue by 3 fucking months at this point), and getting stuff set up in my room at dad's house.

I've also started slowly working on my new PC build. The case has been giving me a headache though; the I/O front panel is adjustable and the one place I want it (up top) is blocked off by my 120mm fans so I may just have to keep it attached via the side, which is annoying. I need to buy 140mm fans yet because I apparently can't fit 3x120mm fans up top and in front. It'll unfortunately have to wait as my dog had to go to the vet recently for updated vaccinations and a full workup (400 fucking dollars right there)

In better news, my brother is getting married in June! I've been working on some jewelry/accessories for the occassion. So far I have some concept art drawn up of a hair accessory and supplies for it in my eBay cart (that I haven't been able to buy because of the vet trip). I have yet to go looking for some nice clothes, or better yet, try to make my own. I'm leaning toward buying some nice black slacks, shoes and a dress shirt but I recently saw some really nice black/silver floral border brocade fabric and I've been eyeing buying a few yards.

I don't have much to update about regarding hobby stuff, most of it's already on the most recent Crystal Memoria blog entry. I've also gone out of my way to buy the full light novel set for The Apothecary Diaries in an attempt to do my own fan translation because I'm not happy with the official English translation, and I've picked up working on fan translating all the Crystal Chronicles books again.

Unless I have some very important stuff to update about, I'm hoping the next time I post another entry, I'll have finally fully moved back into dad's house.
